The Stanford 10 Achievement Test is required annually for students in 3rd through 11th grade. If your student is not required to test, but would like to, they may do so upon written request and payment of a $65 fee. Individual testing is available for an additional fee by appointment only. PLEASE NOTE: Students must be on time for their SAT10 Testing. Students who are late will not be able to join the test. If this happens, parents will need to pay for the student to test individually, which is an additional charge of $15/hour it takes them to complete the test. Drop off is 8:30 a.m.

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a program cosponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). It's a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT®. It also gives students a chance to enter NMSC scholarship programs and gain access to college and career planning tools. This test is optional for 9th grade students, and required for 10th-11th grade students.
Registration must be made by September 9th.

*Pre-administration Day: October 4, 2023 from 1:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
PSAT: October 18, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
*Pre-administration will take approximately 1 hour.
The SAT and ACT are standardized tests used for college admissions. CVA recommends students take these tests after completing Algebra II. Seniors are required to take either the SAT® or ACT® before December and meet minimum score requirements.
