CVA Attendance
It is the law that CVA keep attendance on all enrolled students, which is why it's important for you to send us the number of days that has been completed by your student each month. We've tried to make this as easy as possible, so here's how it works.
| Step 1: | Open your e-mail and compose a new e-mail. Send to: [email protected] (capitalization doesn't matter) Subject: Attendance |
| Step 2: | In your email, type the following, filling in your family's information. Child's name Family Name Month of _______ Number of Days |
| Step 3: | Send the e-mail, and receive a confirmation response within 1 business day. |
Here's an example e-mail. This family has 2 children enrolled at CVA. In this example, the parent's last name is different from their children.
FAQ
| Q: | What if I have multiple children with a different number of days completed? |
| A: | You can list them separately. For Example: Jane Doe: 21 days completed Michael Doe: 25 days completed |
| Q: | I record my children's attendance in an excel (or other) document. Can I just attach those each month? |
| A: | No. We request that you type in the information into the e-mail for quick recording by CVA staff. |
| Q: | I realize attendance is due on the 1st of the following month, but what if I'm late emailing it to CVA? |
| A: | CVA offers a 1 week grace period. However, after the 7th of the month you will be charged a late fee of $25. |
| Q: | I sent my children's attendance in, but did not receive a confirmation email and it's been more than one business day. What should I do? |
| A: | Check that you sent your e-mail to "[email protected]." If you are certain you sent it to the correct e-mail, but still have not received a confirmation, please send it again and call CVA at 407-281-6244 to make sure you are not charged a late fee. |
