CODE OF CONDUCT & DRESS CODE

CVA policy requires proper and appropriate dress and behavior at all school functions (such as graduation ceremonies, examinations, field trips, park days, and other school functions).

All students are required to act in an orderly fashion. No running, or horse play, will be tolerated, nor will cigarette smoking be allowed at any school function. Inappropriate language of any kind, such as swearing, name calling, talking back to adults, etc., will not be tolerated.

During all school functions, students will not be allowed to leave the group without appropriate adult supervision.

Cell phones, pagers, CD players, radios, and other electronic devices will only be permitted at school functions at the discretion of school officials. If students are required to have cell phones or pagers, they will be retained by appropriate adult supervision, and given to the students, if necessary.

Gentlemen and Ladies: Baggy pants, exposing undergarments, are not permitted. Shorts cannot be shorter than 2 inches above the knee. Shirts must overlap pants, so midsection is not exposed.

Gentlemen: Conservative shirts, pants, or shorts are required. No tank tops or short shorts. All pierced jewelry must be removed prior to and during school functions.

Ladies: Modest attire is required. This entails wearing dresses, slacks, jeans, or shorts. Appropriate conservative tops or blouses are required. Short shorts and spaghetti strap shirts are not permitted. Skirts cannot be any shorter than 2 inches above the knee cap. You must limit yourself to no more than two earrings per ear at school functions. All other pierced jewelry must be removed prior to and during school functions.

I understand and accept that it is the policy of Christian Victory Academy of Central Florida, Inc. that whether my family and I are Christians OR NOT, we must demonstrate Christian standards of behavior as defined by the Code of Conduct and Dress Code during all school functions.

These rules of conduct and dress are subject to revision at any time deemed necessary by the Board of Directors.
