www.fpea.com ~ The FPEA (Florida Parent Educators Association) exists solely to serve and provide information to homeschooling families in Florida. They host a yearly convention for homeschool families.
www.flvs.net ~ FLVS (Florida Virtual School) provides online accredited courses for grades 6 to 12, as well as for adults seeking GED alternatives both in FL and out-of-state. However, FLVS is not a school, so you still need to be enrolled in a school or homeschooling through the county to enroll in FLVS courses.
www.collegeboard.com ~ Registration site for SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test). Provides practice tests and questions that could show up on the test.
www.actstudent.org ~ Registration site for the ACT and some practice tests. Supplies additional college preparatory information.
www.fafsa.ed.gov ~ Federal Student Aid plays a central and essential role in supporting postsecondary education by providing money for college to eligible students and families. If you are planning to attend a Florida college or university you should complete FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Deadline is May 15th for the fallowing Fall semester.
