Students may elect to take this course in 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade.
Created to ignite interest in learning French and to build the foundation for fluency skills, introductory French puts students at the center of an exciting adventure through which they learn to speak and write this beautiful romantic language. Students will learn new words, learn about tense, increase understanding of sentence structure, and increase their listening skills as they take an active part in their own online learning. The course units include text-based lessons, on and off-computer exercises, special projects, learning games, quizzes, and tests that appeal to today's digital generation.
Throughout the course, students will explore the following topics:

Students may elect to take this course in 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th grade.
Personal health, wellness, and safety are the focus of this introduction to health basics created just for students in grades 4-7. Presented from a Christian worldview, students are encouraged to be good stewards of their bodies through healthy eating, keeping their bodies in fit, practicing good hygiene, and protecting themselves from dangers in the environment. Students will also be introduced to the basics of human anatomy. The course units include text-based lessons, on and off-computer exercises, special projects, learning games, quizzes, and tests that appeal to today's digital generation .
